She is a Nevada Registry Certified Trainer for the ECE community and serves on the Nevada Registry’s Training Advisory System workgroup. She also serves as Northern Nevada’s Adult Learning Academy Instructor for the Nevada Registry, helping other ECE professionals learn how to train adults in our field.

Throughout her career, she has advocated for high quality ECE experiences for all of Nevada’s young children and has emerged as a team-oriented and effective leader of ECE teachers. LeAn maintains a firm commitment to families, having been a developmental specialist for the state and having served as the family and community partnership coordinator for Early Head Start. She is a passionate and relentless child advocate for families of children with special needs.
